Lady Macbeth has now read Macbeths letter about how he encountered three witches and that Macbeth and the king are going to her house. She also was talking to herself about how she needs to become more like a man because men have less emotions and can be dark and cruel.

this quote shows that lady Macbeth realized that men are more dark a can do more things due to our superior strength and that if she was a man she would be more than man she would be a leader.

Act.4 Sc 3. pg.155 lines.252-254

"MALCOM Be comforted. Les's make us med'cines of our great revenge to cure this deadly grief." - Malcom.

In this quote Macduff's family has been murdered and Malcom tells him to use his sadness and grief as medicine and turn your emotions into an enraged state so he can be more manly and be a better fighter.

Act. 5 sc. 8 lines 1-5

"Why should I play the Roman fool and die On mine own sword? Whiles I see lives, the gashes Do better upon them"- Macbeth

Macbeth says that he would rather stay alive and fight off his enemies instead of Taking the foolish Roman way of killing himself with his own sword and that if his enemies are still alive he would like to remain alive and fight.

This quote demonstrates manliness with the fact that Macbeth would rather fight like a man against his enemy instead of taking to cowards way out by taking his own life aways by committing suicide.

Act. 5 sc. 8 lines 45-48

"He Only live but till he was a man, the which no sooner had his prowess confirmed in the unshrinking station he fought, but like a man he died."- Ross

Ross was talking to Malcom and Siward about a battle that they had just won. When they talked about how Siwards' son had died and Ross said that he lived to be a man and he fought to the death like a lot of men do.

This quote shows that manliness is good because Ross is trying to comfort Siward with some true infromation and he mainly talked about how his son was a man and that he was a courageous fighter.

Act. 1 sc.7 line 51.

" I dare do all that may become a man."- Macbeth

Lady Macbeth is talking to Macbeth about how he dresses effects the way his self esteem is shown. And she talks about how right now he should be dressing different. She also asks why he doesn't desire to make his self esteem better.

This quote shows manliness because Macbeth gets chewed out and states that doing all of what she said doesn't make anyone a man. This means Macbeth spoke what he truly thought was right which in my mind is manly

Oddysee theme

The Oddysey keeps throwing major problems at Odysseus that he needs to have faith in the gods to get through them." First I will transform you-no one must know you. I will shrivel the supple skin on your lithe limbs, strip the russet curls from yout head and deck you out." p.299 L. 454-456. This happend when Odysseus Returned to a Ithica that has been torn apart by the suitors. If Odysseus didn't wait to go into the palace he would have been reconized by the suitors and probably would have been killed. But Odysseus understood the situation and patiently waited to penatrate the palace while hoping for help from the gods. by doing this the Goddess Athena Changed Odysseus's appearence so he could walk the palace as an unknown begger.

The Odyssey has many tasks that require faith in the gods. "swept along by the whitecaps past the trim black hull and the god cut short their journey home forever" P.284 L. 451-452. Odysseus and his crew was bailed into the sea by the God Poseidon being washed around in the ocean because Poseiden felt Odysseus and his crew weren't fully faithful so they were punished and ended on Calypso's island.

The Odyssey has obstacles that require belief in the gods to over come them. " Do For the two of us? Or shall I rack My brains for another champion?" P. 346 L. 392-393 Zues Tells Odysseus to tell telemachus that he is his father. Odysseus has to believe in Zues his god to succesfully destroy the suitors. Odysseus listens to his god and talks to Telemachus revealing himself as Odysseus this trust in the god that Odysseus has helps him to do things at the right time.

Odysseus hero.

Based on the elements of a heros journey Odysseus is a heroic person. Odysseus has a quest to get back to his home where his son and wife are. Once he had left there was no turning back no matter how hard the gods make his journey. Posideon pushed Odysseus in these books to see what he was made of. Odysseus heroically stays alive using the magic scarf in these books which is very heroic in my mind. Another thing that makes Odysseus a hero from the elements of a heros journey was that he traveled to the underworld with his crew but escaped which is very heroic. The Cyclopes was Odysseus's journey to the underworld which he heroically escaped by blinding the cyclopes using wine.

Based on the events of a heros adventure Telemachus isnt a hero in my mind. Most heros think their quests through before they just decide what they are going to do. In the Odysee Telemachus has no refusal to the call which is a step in a heros trip. Also Telemachus has no master to teach him how to finish his quest. Instead his quest it to find his master (odysseus). Once Telemachus heard that his father has either died or had chosen not to come home Telemachus decided he would search for his father. But the problem with that is he has had slim to no experience about going on long journeys and in my mind was not a very herolike desicion. Telemachus is far from a hero at this point in the book. He has no special birth, no master, no hero partner, and no knowledge of the world. Telemachus is a young man with a lost father that he cant find even if he tries. All of these examples show that Telemachus is not a hero.

Vikings add 7 time pro bowl wide receiver Randy Moss! this trade brings two players whom have wanted to play on the same team for years. Brett Favre and Randy Moss for the first time in their long careers will play together Monday night against the Jets. The trade to get Moss costed the Vikings just a third round draft pick. Clifton Brown from Sports news says "Moss, 33 is a great player but controversy always follows him". I couldn't agree with that statement more. Moss is one of the best of his position to ever play the game but he left the vikings on bad terms and the patriots. Clifton also quotes that " A happy Moss is dynamic. An unhappy Moss is a distraction", Basically if Moss is upset he will not always give 100 percent on the field. But for now Moss couldn't be happier to play football with Favre so hopefully we see the dynamic Moss. I feel this trade will benefit the Vikings so much. With Sidney Rice injured for the first half of the season Moss will Be that big threat the Vikings have been missing. This will result in more yards for Adrian Peterson and take pressure off of Percy Harvin so it will be easier for Percy to get open. Moss is one of the best deep threats to ever play the game and hopefully guide the vikings into their win now mode. If the Vikings can maintain a decent record until Rice gets back they will be a force to be recond with. Once the vikings have two deep threats with Moss and Rice that will make Brett Favres job a whole lot easier. Also this would cause either Rice or Moss to not be double teamed which they usually always are. These two receivers will take men off of Adrian Peterson to. With this amazing offense and fierce defense do not count the Vikings out of a Vince Lambardi trophy just yet!

should school be all year round opinion essay.

Year round school sounds like an amazing idea to me. This has been a topic that has been flying around the United States for quite some time now. The reason it has not been set into effect yet is this idea makes most kids sick to their stomach. This is their opinion and their entitled to have it. I personally believe that all year round school would make the youth of America way more intelligent, and I also feel that once kids got used to it they would even enjoy it more even if they say they would not like it. Here are some of my opinions to support my thesis.

All year round school is a great way for kids not to develop such laziness across the country. As kids get their summer break most of them typically play outside and scream and holler for about a month. The next two months kids start to loose their excitement about summer. This causes kids to start sitting around getting used to doing nothing day after day. All year round school ends this big flaw in our academic system. All year round school has just as many days off as normal school. But the difference is that in all year round school you have three months of school and then you get a month break. Kids all over the country would gain an attitude that focuses on working hard so you enjoy that break more. Kids wouldn't have three months in a row to forget half the shit they learned last year. This would eliminate those three review weeks in the normal system. And instead of wasting three weeks of everyones time they could use that time to focus on learning new information. From first to twelfth grade this could gain 36 weeks of learning new stuff instead of reviewing. This clearly would make the nation as a whole more educationally advanced.

If the United States happened to add year round school nation wide kids would begin to love the new setup. Normal school causes kids to get overwhelmed with nine months of straight school and then getting bored after the first month of summer. To me this makes no sense when you could space it out a little bit. All year round school would throw three months of hard work at students and then reward them with a month of break. A month of non stop fun for children no more wasted boring days. It sounds to me like all year round school would make kids happy across the country. Also These breaks would be placed in different seasons. This would make all of those fall, winter, and spring athletes happy. Finally a Month off in their sport season so they can focus on getting better at their sport without having to worry about school the whole time. After all of my thoughts I have shared I could not see how you could fight for the tradition school system to stay it clearly has less productive results in the same amount of time.

Luke Skywalker from Star Wars and Doug from blue diamond are two different people that do similar hero actions. Luke Skywalker leaves his hometown to travel into space and learn to become a Jedi. Doug leaves his town because his friend tricked him to going to Las Vegas. Both follow the hero path of going into the belly of the whale. Furthermore Doug from blue diamond is all on his own to accomplish his task of saving his buddy Doug has not hero partner or a master. On the other hand Luke has both a master and a hero partner. Lukes master is Obewon and his Partner is c3po and R2D2 who help him complete his task. Lastly, Luke and Doug both recieve a form of an Elixir. Lukes elixir is the ceremony that he gets after blowing up the death star. Dougs Elixir is being able to see his friend because he talked him out of suicide and put his friend in a more peaceful state of mind. Doug and Luke are 2 big everyday hero's they always do whatever they can to achieve there goals they share many heroic traits that make them accel above the other heros in this world.
